Business of Artificial Intelligence Short Intensive Course (SIP): From transforming business models to exploring new value creation, AI guides us into a new era. To understand the impact, benefits and limitations of AI, predominantly in healthcare, finance and technology, the Business of AI SIP was held form January 18 - 21, 2022 at HBS.
Two hundred and fifty current students, alumni and other HBS program participants explored the crucial role of data and AI in a firm's ability to compete and thrive in this new digital world. Together, participants worked in real-time to identify gaps in the market, explore new opportunities, and brainstorm new data science and AI applications.
The sessions featured a series of case studies, panels and design sprint sessions. Speakers included experts from J.P. Morgan, Amazon Web Services, Generate Biomedicines, Applied Intuition and Boston Consulting Group, along with a number of MBA alumni.
This year's course was a first-of-its-kind SIP. Participants interacted with faculty, panelists, MBA students, and non-current MBA HBS participants such as executive education alumni, Harvard Business Analytics Program current and former learners, and other former program executive education participants.
