Dennis Byrski
Dennis is a Research Fellow and Ph.D. Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and at the LMU Munich, Germany. He was a Fellow at the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard (LISH). His research agenda focuses on technological change in health care and pharmaceutical markets. In particular, he investigates the effect of intellectual property rights on the direction of drug development and the role of physical capital in biomedical science. Dennis received his M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Cologne, Germany, and was recipient of a graduate fellowship by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (2012–2016).
