Doug Levin
Doug Levin is an Executive-in-Residence at the Laboratory for Innovation Sciences at Harvard (LISH) and co-lecturer of the “Startup Academy” course at Harvard Business Analytics Program (HBAP). He’s a four-time CEO best known as the sole founder and first CEO of Black Duck Software (acquired by Synopsys in 2017). He serves on the Board of Directors of FiVerity, ReversingLabs and SmartOne. Levin is the author of the weekly blog and podcast Lessons from a Startup Life. He is an advisor to an array of young companies in the cybersecurity and AI/machine learning segments, including Accuknox, Nirmata, Prescient Devices, Stynt and others. Levin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned an advanced degree in International Economics from the College d’Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
