The easiest way to reach the lab is by share ride or public transit (Bus #66, #86, or Harvard Shuttle from Harvard Square T station). Unfortunately, the surface lot behind 175 North Harvard is not open to the public; here are the options for parking nearby:
There is metered parking available on Ivy Lane for $1.25 for 2 hours. These meters take credit/debit cards, as well as cash. The maximum time allowed is 2 hours.
There is also free street parking directly in front of 175 North Harvard Street, but these spots are rarely available after 8:30am.
There is additional metered parking between 125 and 127 Western Avenue for $2/hour. These meters take credit/debit cards, as well as cash. The maximum time allowed is 4 hours.
A limited number of free visitor parking passes are available for the HBS Parking Lot near Spangler Hall (a 10 minute walk from the Lab). These parking passes last all day, but you will need to email email@example.com at least 24 hours in advance to request one.
Once you arrive at 175 North Harvard Street, walk to the back of the building to the rear door at the top of the ramp. Email, call, or text the person with whom you are meeting to ask them to let you in. If you cannot reach them, please press the “On” button on the silver call box closest to the door, then dial 54707 to reach Alexandra Kesick’s desk phone to request someone to let you in.
