Alexander Staub is a PhD candidate and lecturer at the WU Vienna University of Economics at the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization led by Prof. Christopher Lettl. Alexander is currently investigating the impact of symbolic awards on knowledge contribution behavior using panel data gathered from two online communities. His current research interests include behavior of individuals and groups in online communities and crowds as well as non-monetary incentives. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration from the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business and a Master of Science degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Manchester.
