Henry Sauermann
Professor of Strategy and Director of the Vali Entrepreneurship Hub at ESMT Berlin
Henry is Professor of Strategy and Director of the Vali Entrepreneurship Hub at ESMT Berlin. His research explores the role of human capital in science, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He also studies non-traditional innovation mechanisms such as Crowdsourcing and Citizen Science. Henry’s work has been published in journals such as Management Science, Organization Science, Science, and PNAS. He has also been invited to serve on a committee of the U.S. National Academies and on various scientific advisory boards. Henry holds a PhD from Duke University and was a tenured faculty member at the Georgia Institute of Technology before returning to his native Germany.
